The Barony of Eldern Hills is currently in the planning stages for Samhain. One unofficial event at Samhain this year will be a wedding between myself and M'lord Dragano D'Este. We would like to coordially invite any and all Blue Feathers to attend the event and share in our momentus occasion! The dates for the event are 28-30 October. If you can make it, do so! This is a really fun and relaxing event on a beautiful lakeside site (and you can swim in this lake).

It hasn't been scheduled yet but there will be a Blue Feather Social gathering at some point early in the week.

The Barony of Dun Carraig in southern Maryland is hosting an event called "A Day in the Middle East" on February 28, 2009. Turns out not only is that right in my backyard (it's being held in Mechanicsville), but our dear Uncle Rashid will be attending, which means me and Qeb will be as well. Anyone else in the DC/VA/MD area interested in attending? Should be fun! ...

Is there going to be a Blue Feather encampment at Estrella War this year? I could not find one last year.

Who's going to be at Birka at the end of the month?

I'm going to be there, though I don't know how much money I will have to spend. I will be volunteering for my site fee, but paying to spend the night with my household. But they're making me new garb, so that's a win! Now I just need to find some hose...

Joshua, at the known world meeting, didn't you mention that this upcoming war signifies the 10 year anniversary of the clans founding?

If so, do we have any plans for something big to celebrate the event? A party, reinactment, massive orgy, something? Idk, just throwing ideas out there.
